Red shells are really interesting weapons, even in battle mode or in a regular race. Did you know you can improve efficiency of the shells ? Let's se how to do it ;) Let's fire Red Shells ! Sometime, when you fire a red shell, this one hits a wall or fall down in a hole. To avoid this, after firing a your red shell, just hold down button A . This way, your red shell should be more efficient and should surely smash in your opponent !

Let's see today a way to avoid a Pow block in Mario Kart Wii. The Pow block is a new weapon in Mario kart Wii, which makes all players (excepting of course the one who uses it) turning around and loosing their weapons. To dodge the POW and avoid waisting precious time turning, just wait the POW sign on the screen to be flattened, and then lift the wiimote (or wii wheel) up. You will loose your weapons, but you won't loose your time :)

What about getting a few speed burst on race start ? This trick will help you to increase your speed on the starting grid . Let get a speed burst ! For a burst of speed on the starting grid, hold down the A button (accelerator) in between the first and second beeps. You'll zoom ahead of the pack and cruise to the goal line. Heavy vehicle If you have a heavy vehicle, to make the most of this speed burst , don't hesitate to crash into another player, especially those who drive a small motorbike...
